Flannel Friday: Where Oh Where Has My Underwear Gone?

I used this visual for an underwear storytime I did for the toddlers last spring. I got the idea from Lisa at the Storytime Source Page blog. I used her song "Where Oh Where Has My Clothing Gone?" from her clothing storytime and just changed the words to underwear of different colors. To make the underwear, I found an outline of some briefs and boxer briefs on Google Images. The kids really liked bringing the different colored underwear to the board after we sang each verse. Overall, the underwear storytime was a hit.

Where Oh Where Has My Underwear Gone?
(Tune: Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?)

Oh where, oh where has my green underwear gone?
Oh where, oh where can they be?
I've looked up high, and I've looked down low,
Did someone hide them from me?

(children with green underwear bring them to the board before you sing about the next color)

  3. Oh my goodness! I can not believe how great your underwear looks. I also can not believe that I just typed that sentence in a blog comment. LOL! I can not do puffy paint so I am always in awe of puffy paint details. Hmmm... Maybe I can stitch the details on my set of underwear because this is also going on my TBM (to be made) pile.

Thanks for sharing your awesome underwear this week on the FFRU!
