Five little turkeys standing at the door,
One waddled off, and then there were four.
Four little turkeys sitting near a tree,
One waddled off, and then there were three.
Three little turkeys with nothing to do,
One waddled off, and then there were two.
Two little turkeys in the morning sun,
One waddled off, and then there was one.
One little turkey better run away,
For soon it will be Thanksgiving Day.
How many times have I done 5 Little Somethings, and I never think of putting up an image for the rhyming parts! Love your tree, sun & door--and I love not having ANYTHING for "nothing to do!" Thanks Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing Melissa. It's so start and easy to do!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great Thanksgiving flannel - I need to print off some turkeys before next week's storytimes!! :D Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLovely idea. Shame that they don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Scotland (well, 'they' don't, but WE do in the Quine household)!
ReplyDeleteCute! I made a little adapted book to do the 5 little turkeys with my class... it's a free download if you want to check it out! We both used the same turkey clip art :)
